Kindergarten Graduation

Graduating from kindergarten is such a sweet thing.  Moving on up to be with the "big kids" is monumental!  This was the first year her class did a graduation.  Her teacher held it in class on the last week of school.

As the audience arrived to Lila's class, Mrs. Bond read a story.

Lila's buddy Berlyn was late.  She had been home sick and Lila was very concerned about her.
They each stood up and told one thing they had learned in kindergarten.  Lila said she learned to read.

Songs.  They sang many songs they had learned throughout the year.  So sweet and makes me cry every time!

Lila and Joshua led a song together.

Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes in English and Spanish.

Berlyn and Lila.  Sweet friends.

Saying good-bye to Mrs. Bond.  She was such a wonderful teacher.  She was very sweet and said that Lila's class had been an exceptionally special class for her with such wonderful children!

Thanks for everything Mrs. Bond!  You were a wonderful teacher and I look forward to Clarissa being in your class next fall!

This is Mrs. Peters, the principal.  Lila loves her and had to stop by her office to say goodbye.  What a sweet girl!
