Gearing up to go!

My 1st tomatoes and zucchini!
Jeff welding at work, inside & outside the pipe.

Sweet little Clarissa!
The kids and I are heading to Georgia on Sunday to spend some time with my Dad & all our family down in Florida. We will be gone for two whole weeks! Poor Jeff has to stay here and work, but hopefully he'll enjoy a little alone time. I'm hoping the flight won't be too hard with all the little ones. Wish me luck...

Uncle Mike took a gaggle of girls out for a sail boat ride. Good thing Tom came along too!

mmmmmmm

Kurtis, Tom & James out on the lake.
Going up north for Jeff's annual family gathering was great. Too bad Jeff couldn't go! It was pretty cool (about 55*-60*) and raining a lot, so we didn't get to do many of our regular water activities, but it was still great!

Rewind to Monday

We went to my girlfriend Timbra's house to play in the sprinklers on Monday. Timbra's daughter, Alani, and Lila play so well together, it's great! Kurtis came along but opted out of sprinkler play, but did join us for lunch and a little pull up competition (which I won thank you very much). Thanks for having us Timbra!

Good to see you!

I haven't seen my girlfriend Shawnda in a couple months. She and her family came over last night for dinner and she took these awesome photos of the girls!

Summer is great!

Independence Day

On the 4th of July I told Lila a little about Independence day and we talked about flags and celebrating the United State of America. When Jeff came home from skating Lila said very enthusiastically "Daddy, did you know it's In-dee-pen-dance Day?!" We had a good time at the local fireworks display. Clarissa stared pointing at the fireworks yelling "Ooooo! Ooooo!" She loved it! Lila got her first taste of cotton candy and ran wild afterword!
