Alani was born on June 6, 2006. This year she turned six, so it was (I just learned this from Timbra) her Golden birthday. I was four when I had mine, so I'm out of luck on those celebrations, but my kids still have theirs coming!
On Alani's actual birthday Timbra invited the girls and I to come along for some girly pampering at the mall. When we arrived at Alani's she was still opening gifts.
Timbra always has matching outfits for the whole family on birthdays. This was no exception. All three ladies were head to toe gold!

After a small mishap, Clarissa stepped on Alani's toe and smudged her paint, we were on our way to the make up kiosk.

Unfortunately, Lila stepped on Alani's toes as we were saying goodbye. Poor kid. Luckily I hear she declared it the best birthday ever, despite two squashed toes!
