Kurtis' band teacher is also the band teacher at Hillcrest High where Kurtis will go to High School next year. She invited Kurtis to come play with the band at the football and basketball games. This was his first night with the Hillcrest band. He had fun, but decided he really doesn't like football at all.
A Sheriff's helicopter delivered the school mascot, a Huskie.

I "heart" high school football, cold nights, with your butt freezing to the metal bleachers, half-time band shows. . . i love it all! If he plays for the band next year, I'll have to go to football games with you just for the fun of it all!
