Building a Coop and Staring at the Sun

With the ramp finally down we could begin on chicken coop construction!  Who is that large man carrying that plywood you ask.  Well, that's my baby.

Lila the photographer...

Mom takes the camera back and continues swing pushing duty.

This day was the eclipse and lucky for us, Jeff had welding lenses dark enough to stare at the sun.  It was quite amazing.

This picture doesn't really do justice to what we could see through the welding hoods, but my camera doesn't fit in a welding hood very well.

Thanks guys for all your hard work on the coop!  We're getting there!

That is pretty awesome that you built a coop for your feathery girls. And PINK! Love it. You are turning into quite the backyard farmer!

it's not a good idea to stare at the son, you know?! :) i like that your photos look like mine, discolored from the viewing device and just well. . .just for fun :) the coop is coming along (though of course, now it's actually finished)
