It seemed a shame not to take my mom up to the beautiful mountains while she was here so we headed up Big Cottonwood Canyon to trek around Silver Lake.
Kurtis was very helpful and offered to carry my tripod

Clarissa really wanted to walk, but the problem is that she stops every two seconds to smell a flower, pick up a rock, kick some dirt, pull some grass, etc etc. Kurtis offered to carry her too!

what? someone got here before me :) yes, fun times, what a man K carrying C, i can't get the girls' DAD to do that let alone a teenage boy . . of course i don't HAVE a teenage boy, so i'd have to find one and probably pay him. . . or maybe i could just borrow yours one day :P
