I bought a face painting kit and this was the second day we tried it out. Here is Lila's sparkle face.
I hadn't made her wash her face before bed like I had the first time we used the paint and this is what Lila looked like the next morning. I'm not totally convinced the face paint caused the swelling, but I have no other good explanation. When I went into Lila's room I heard "Mom, does my eye look funny?"
Day 2, still swollen and a bit more rashy.
The end of day two. Most of the swelling had gone away but had started itching so we had to get some calamine lotion.
I think we'll wait a while before trying the paint again...
