Kurtis recently was chosen for Honors Band at school. This consists of the best students from each instrument category in the school. He will get to play along with other Honors students from other schools when they play together. What talent!

Honors Band
Kurtis had his school Spring concert on Wednesday and as always he did a great job! An old friend, Doug, came to see Kurtis and was so amazed at how much he had changed since their last meeting a couple years ago. The girls did amazingly well considering the concert started at 7pm, which is almost bed time for both of them. His next concert is will be that end of the year concert on Thursday, May 27th at 7 pm if anyone is interested in attending let me know!

That rocks! Gooooo Curtis! I was also in "honors" band but I played the bassoon. Always was near the base clarinets (from what I can see in the pic, that is what he plays, right?).
Yep, Kurtis plays clarinet & bass clarinet :)
