Not nearly as scary as running with the bulls. However, sometimes they're a little close for comfort. I ran on Antelope Island on Saturday morning with a group of runners. It was beautiful and just the right temperature for running.
On the right you can see one bison grazing.

These two big bison are a lot closer than they look in this photo. They made me just a little nervous! We also saw and heard some coyotes. What a great run!

It's just so pretty out there. . .I might think you're crazy for training for an even bigger race than a marathon, but I can't blame you for wanting to run amongst the wild bison :) and beauty that is antelope island
