Getting Crafty

Being housebound for going on four days with the flu circulating, I was about ready to pull my hair out. Yesterday I decided to brave the dollar store and stocked up on some new art supplies. Am I ever glad I did. Glitter glue is a little girls best friend!

Lila and Clarissa decorated foam butterflies

Lila used an entire bag of pom poms and then declared she needed a few more for an empty space, so we opened bag number two.

Silly girl pretending to put make up on!

Lila made the purple frame and I made the others with a little help from Clarissa.

I also got a bunch of pre-school activity books. Lila was LOVING them. She spent a lot of time counting, matching and tracing. I may have to go back for more!

Clarissa also enjoyed a bit of play dough time.

Kurtis, Lila and I have fully recovered. Poor Clarissa is having the hardest time getting over it, but she is much better than she was. We are just going to keep taking it easy this week and hope next week is a healthy one for all!

busy day!

I didn't realize how busy yesterday was until I started all these posts! It actually felt like Spring yesterday and I really wanted to play outside so the girls and I stayed at Kurtis' soccer practice. They ran and ran in the field and had a grand time!

Lila took this picture!
Just because the calendar says it's April doesn't mean mother nature listens! Look at all that snow!
Horseplay!

Running! Running! Running!

What a beautiful day!

our weekly Wiist fix

Our weekly Wiist girls fix was at Timbra's this week. Timbra and I always enjoy ourselves and chat with some chocolate chip cookies. The girls usually enjoy each other, and only boss some of the time.... he he

Ken was a big hit

This was the biggest hit of all...

Then you mix ken & the exersaucer... look out!
it actually felt like spring!

life with kids is never dull

I was talking on the phone to my sister-in-law Katie and all of a sudden I noticed it was way too quiet. When I went upstairs I found Clarissa had nearly emptied the jar of Eucerin. She was so proud.
