Saying goodbye is never easy

My good friend Rachel is moving to California this weekend. On Tuesday she had a farewell party at her place. We had a wonderful time! I will miss her, but the good news is she is moving to Santa Rosa which isn't far from my Mom's house!

our weekend

This weekend was very productive, but relaxing at the same time. We did some yard work, went for walks, bike rides and played out back with the kids.

Kurtis leaves on Monday for his month annual month with his Dad and Step Mom. He is looking forward to meeting his newest sibling, another sister named Felicity, who was born last week. Now I have to get out and enjoy this long weekend before he goes!

We are finally having some spring weather & enjoying the great outdoors! Bike rides are fun for everyone!

Keith, who was in both the Marine Corps with Jeff and our wedding party came to visit us this month. His trip was cut short, but it was good to see him anyhow.
