Our Growing Veggies!

Kurtis was happy to cut our first crop of spinach and we cooked it for dinner! Yum!

Yesterday we were walking up the sidewalk in front of the kid's pediatrician's office. Lila saw a Rollie Pollie (aka sow bug, pill bug) and said "Mommy! Look! A rollie pollie! Hi rollie pollie!" Then in a very stern voice said "Stay away from our vegetables rollie pollie! You tell your friends to stay out of our garden!"

It was finally hot enough to bust out the pool! Clarissa enjoyed her first kiddie pool experience! And, Lila still loves it as much as ever. Lila requested that we picnic out in the front yard yesterday and here are the girls playing under out beautiful tree.

Park Week!

We spent a lot of time at the park this week. It has been perfect weather out, so I really want to enjoy it before it's 100 degrees out! On Friday at Granite park we saw a big snake and decided to leave early. No picture of it, but it was pretty good sized and decided that directly under the slide was the place to be!

Clarissa officially took her first steps on Thursday! Kurtis and I were in the living room and saw her take two steps! Yay Clarissa! It won't be long now...

Remember my garden? Well, I've added my seedlings & some tomatoes from Costco! YAY! Everything is still alive & GROWING! Clarissa has discovered that she can put on clothes! Here she is putting on Lila's dress and Kurtis' shirt.
On Tuesday Kurtis had his annual Monster Concert where his school plays with a bunch of other schools in the area. Lila loved it and "conducted" along with the band teacher!
After a school contest, Kurtis is now the champion bubble blower! He can blow a "double bubble" (bubble inside a bubble) and one as big as his head! Watch out, they pop!
