yard work

Jeff and Kurtis (mostly Kurtis) have been tearing up some of the lawn in the front yard. My contribution to this project is as photographer. Not a lot of help, but way more fun!

The next door neighbor's tree is beautiful right now, so I couldn't help but steal a few pictures of the girls in front of the pretty pink blooms!

I love the tree in our front yard! It is the perfect picture tree!

Lila spotted a bug in the dirt and Clarissa was very unsure of it.

Hey! Jeff let me photograph him, and he EVEN SMILED!

Swinging is always required when we go outside
Finally! Veggies in my garden! Yay!

Soggy Saturday

Saturday was wet and raining off and on all day. I decided that the girls and I would cheer Kurtis on from the inside of our dry and warm van. It went over really well at first, but the girls got a bit stir crazy by the end of the game.

What happened to Thursday?

Thursday was our weekly date with Timbra and the girls. Timbra made sugar cookies for the girls to decorate which was super fun and yummy!

Now that is a "Mom" look!

Even Airi is getting big enough to play!
We had fun indoors as usual, but we are ready to take our play dates outside! Let's hope this week is sunny and warm! (I won't hold my breath!)

Long time no see...

We visited some friends we hadn't seen in a while yesterday. Tracy and her daughter, Kate who Lila adores! Kate also had another friend over and one of Kate's older brothers was there with his friend, so it was a fun fun time! The girls played dress up and make up and when the sun came out we couldn't resist going in the back yard to play!

Clarissa enjoyed playing with (and taste testing) some sidewalk chalk.

The three girls had a blast on the swing set!

girl friends are great!

more running and playing...

Clarissa heard me say the word "butt" so what does she do? Stick hers out at me!
Snack time!

It was a great visit! Hope it's not so long until next time!
